Why is the drawer slide not smooth?
Why is there sometimes no problem with the quality of the drawer rails, and the combination with the cabinet is not so smooth on the drawer?
This question starts with the structure of the drawers and slides.
The drawer slides have a certain thickness. The thickness of the slide rails on both sides plus the width of the drawer should be the width inside the cabinet. If the sum of the widths drawer slide and the drawer is greater than the inner diameter of the cabinet, the drawer rails will appear crowded, and it will be very laborious to push and pull the drawer.
If the sum of the widths drawer slide and the drawer is less than the inner diameter of the cabinet, the gap between the drawer slides is relatively large, and the push-pull drawer is still not too smooth.

The sum of the widths drawer slide and the drawer is preferably controlled within 10mm to ensure smoothness.
So when you are shopping for drawer slides, be sure to choose the correct thickness of the drawer slides to ensure the normal use of the drawers.
